FURUNO 1570

The FS-1570 and FS-2570 are new MF/HF radiotelephones for general communications and GMDSS applications. Provided in addition to radiotelephony operation are DSC (Digital Selective Call) on general communications and DSC Watch Receiver on all distress and safety frequencies in MF and HF bands. The FS-1570 and FS-2570 maintain a continuous watch on a distress call even while you are exchanging normal voice messages. DSC channels can be individually set or all selected channels can be automatically scanned. When a DSC message is received, the radiotelephone gives audible and visual alarms.

SAILOR 6300

The SAILOR 6300 MF/HF provides several unique features such as message replay functionality – a first for MF/HF radios, and the ability to connect two control units. A highly efficient power amplifier with control hardware ensures high performance and reliable communication in the marine bands from 1.6 to 30 MHz in TX mode, and ensures constant and full output power on all ITU channels.

The new SAILOR 6300 MF/HF is a high-end communications system in its own right. FURUNO FM-8800S is a high quality, all-in-one marine VHF radiotelephone designed to comply with the GMDSS carriage requirements for safety and general communications. All the necessary functions such as a 25 W VHF radiotelephone, a Class A DSC modem and a CH 70 Watch Receiver are incorporated into the compact transceiver unit.

SAMYUNG SAR9

Samyung SAR-9 is a Radar Transponder, which is operated in 9.2~9.5 GHz(3cm) marine radar band. When a radar signal is received from a SAR craft, the SAR-9 automatically starts to transmit a response signal echoing to that Radar. SAR craft can identify SART s location on the radar screen with 12 in-line dots. Once activated, the SAR-9 will remain in stand-by condition for 96 hours followed by minimum 8 hours transmission.

The Furuno DP-6 is a new Narrow-Band Direct Printing (NBDP) Terminal designed to comply with the IMO carriage requirements for the GMDSS. FURUNO FM8

The FM-8 is FURUNO's quality VHF handheld radiotelephone complying with GMDSS carriage requirements for on-scene two-way communications. It can be also used as an on-board communicator. According to GMDSS carriage requirements, vessels engaged in international voyages must install at least three sets (all passenger ships and on cargo vessels of 500 GT and upward), or at least two sets (cargo vessels below 500 GT but 300 GT and upward). Eight channels are provided as standard: CH16, H6, CH11, CH12, CH13, CH15, CH17 and CH67. Six extra channels are optionally available depending on requirements and subject to authorization.
